Through a close working relationship between instructor and student, the principles of each movement are mastered. The instructor will observe closely and make modifications to enable a rich and rewarding experience.

 

A bit of magic can occur when two people do Pilates together. They encourage one another and cheer each others’ successes. Students are often at somewhat different levels or have specific modification requirements, which the instructor will happily accommodate.

Seated Pilates

 

For those who will remain seated, Seated Pilates offers a world of movement. Strengthening and lengthening exercises are done for the entire body (front, back, sides, legs, arms, abs, shoulders, head and neck). It’s a full body workout without having to stand or lye down.

Group Sessions

 

Group sessions offer a sense of camaraderie and encouragement. Seeing the same people on a regular basis encourages greater participation. During a group session the instructor does the exercises with students in order to provide visual as well as verbal instruction.
